My two main hobbies are photography and sugar artistry. The latter consists of working with sugar, in it's various forms, to create art and specialty cake decorating. I love to work with a medium called gum paste, or sugar paste. A mixture of confectionary sugar, powdered traganthe gum, and other additives, creates a "dough" which can then be formed into individual flower petals, or other forms, coloured with non-toxic powders-painted, to form realistic flowers which are edible, and when dry, as delicate as fine porcelain. Pictures like yours inspire me to create the perfect flowers using gum paste. To recreate the beauty, delicacy, and elegance of each of these perfect creations.
