This is an awesome shot!

I like how you've positioned things so that the bird is in the middle there and the focusing is quite cool too with the way the leaves in the background are slightly out of focus and all.

It must have been a good sunny and hot day? I feel as if the sun was particularly overpowering because of the intensity of the shadows and all.

Lovely stuff.
